3 Retired Champions

Saturday’s Presidents lunch paid tribute to 3 Old Xaverian players who before retiring at the end of last year contributed greatly to the club for many, many years.

Ted Woodruff, Tim Fleming, and Tim Clarke were joined by family and friends in what was the biggest lunch we have ever had at the club. An emotional Simon Lethlean spoke of his respect for each, first as a team mate, and then as a coach, and recalled some of his fonder memories of their time at the club.

After the meal club legend Michael Blood took to the microphone and interviewed each of the champions and Simon Hunt presented them with framed photos.
