RALPH'S NEW ROLE
O'Shaughnessy is Xavs' Footy GM
De La took full advantage of a tail wind in the first term, and the chances of Xavs reining them in dissipated as conditions deteriorated.
Wind, rain and more wind ruined the game as a spectacle. It became a grind, as players from both teams hit in hard to restrict the open flow.
The Red and Blacks were never out of it, but couldn't find that final major that would have given them the four points.
Experienced defender Luke Barry led the way, with solid performances from Tim Golds and the consistent Ed Lachal.
