RALPH'S NEW ROLE
O'Shaughnessy is Xavs' Footy GM
The Red 'n' Black Machine rolled on at Sandringham on Sunday morning, shrugging off the CYs' challenge to win by 40 points.
It took a while for the team to function at its best on a ground that was unfamiliar. After half time, the chances of a close finish evaporated by the minute as Rushie's Rookies found their rhythm and kicked away.
"Senator" Ted Kennedy again led the goalscorers, while Harry MacIsaac was nominated best afield from a cast of strong characters.
This week, the Xavs lie in wait for the winner of the clash between Old Brighton and these same Willsters.
