VALE ANNE DENTON
Club matriarch passes away
Fielding a team that would beat some Premier teams, the Reserves pounded old rival Old Melburnians at Trevor Barker Oval.
Michael Batten slotted seven, while his former premiership U19 teammate James Dalbosco was best afield in a team that shot the lights out. The Xavs added 9.2 to 2.2 in the middle terms, and bookended their dominance with four more goals in both the opening and final terms.
Old Scotch won through their first semi-final and will play OMs next week. For now, the Red 'n' blacks rest.
