MERRY CHRISTMAS
And all the best for 2025
We’re back!
The Old Xaverians will return to football fields across Melbourne this weekend following the latest update from the Victorian Government regarding restrictions.
After two rounds were lost because of the lockdown, community football can return in metropolitan Melbourne from Friday 18 June, albeit without spectators. The government’s protocols state that for community sport, ‘Competition for seniors and juniors can resume with the minimum number of people required to participate and facilitate the activity’.
VAFA competitions will resume at Round 10, with Rounds 9 and 10 abandoned.
