Club matriarch passes away
Doug Greenough has been appointed OXFC Women's Head Coach.
Doug (pictured centre) has vast experience in school, state league and talent pathway football. For the past few years, he has been 1st XVIII Coach at Genazzano FCJ College, where he works as the school's Athletic Development Lead.
Doug, a former sprinter who won the Ararat Gift and now coaches young sprinters, has also worked extensively in strength and conditioning at Dandenong Stingrays in the Coates Talent League and for Werribee and Port Melbourne in the VFL.
Prior to taking up the Genazzano role, Doug spent over a decade at Xavier.
After three seasons as WOX coach, Jeremy Sutcliffe (pictured at left) is staying with the club as Director of Women's Football.
OXFC Football Director Matthew Ball (also pictured) said that the club is fortunate to retain someone of Jeremy's calibre to help ensure there is plenty of support and experience in the women's program.
