Led by the evergreen Nick Serafini, the Crocs won a low scoring affair at Kevin Bartlett to open their account in Thirds Section 4.

The Club XVIII competition has been supplanted with five sections of Thirds. Well performed teams might rise through those sections to find more matched opponents, though it seems unlikely that the Crocodiles would be fazed by stronger competition.

Richmond Central have proven a handful in recent years in Club XVIII, and with the Hawtorn Spartans, appear to be again strong. chadstone, however, put 180 points on the board, and might be a chance too.
