The Xaverian Football Launch was again a big success, with over 270 Red 'n' Blacks fans lunching at the Park to welcome the new season.

Xavier College football and Old Xavs football were the twin focus.

Media personality Anthony Hudson and Richmond CEO Brendon Gale were the special guests, backed by a panel that included WOX coach Scott Gowans, XC First XVII Coach Sam Shaw, Collingwood AFLW player Maddie Shevlin, XC Football Director Matt Egan and Western Bulldogs and XC alum Laitham Vandermeer kept the crowd buzzing.

Xavier College Principal Bill Doherty and OXFC President Matt Cosgrave also fronted the microphone.

It was a welcome return to the 'big room' after a year of missed football and missed opportunity.
