The U19 Premier team kept their hopes of a double chance alive when they defeated third-place DLS at Dairy Bell.

The Bellers were the better team in the first half, booting five goals without reply, but the Xavs bounced back in the second to go to the sheds with just a two point deficit.

DE La managed only to stretch that lead by a point in the third term, and then the Red 'n' Blacks roared home with a six goal final stanza to take the much-sought-after points.
