The Charles Lux Pavilion was the scene for its second-last ever Xavs lunch, as the club inducted its Life Members from 2021.

There were eleven elevated to Life Membership, and nine were honoured at lunch yesterday. Brendan O'Sullivan and Matt Handley will be recognised at this season's Presentation Night.

For the first time, the club recognised posthumously a quartet of fine club servants and family representatives accepted the award.

A record crowd of well over 100 packed the Pavilion for the lunch. We can only wonder how many will be coming through the doors when our new pavilion opens in 2024.
